Your belt size is not your pant size

Nearly everyone orders a belt two inches too short. Your waist measurement is taken against your skin; a belt goes around your trousers, your shirt tail, and whatever is in your pockets.

Take a belt you already wear and lay it flat. Measure from the fold at the buckle to the hole you actually use. That number is your size — not the number printed on the strap, and not the number on your jeans.

Get it wrong and it is not a problem. Every belt is cut to order, so we cut yours to the number you give us.
